John Cena, one of the biggest names in the world of professional wrestling, shocked the WWE Universe by turning heel at Elimination Chamber 2025. After winning the titular contest, he sided with The Rock and destroyed Cody Rhodes.

This made the road to WrestleMania 41, where the Cenation leader will challenge ¡®The American Nightmare¡¯ for the Undisputed title, a lot more exciting. Moreover, it may have opened the door for one of The Rock¡¯s greatest rivals to return to WWE programming ahead of the ¡®Show of Shows¡¯.

WrestleMania 41: Stone Cold Steve Austin to be part of John Cena and The Rock¡¯s feud with Cody Rhodes?

The soon-to-retire John Cena ¡®sold his soul¡¯ to The Rock shortly after defeating CM Punk to win the Elimination Chamber bout. This means that ¡®The Great One¡¯ is expected to be in his corner at the ¡®Showcase of the Immortals¡¯.

As things stand, Cody has the odds stacked against him. However, things could change if he receives some help from Stone Cold Steve Austin. The WWE Hall of Famer was one of The Rock¡¯s biggest rivals during the Attitude Era.

He even squared off against the Fast 5 actor at WrestleMania three times, winning on two occasions and losing once. Moreover, much like Cody Rhodes, he was an anti-establishment figure.

Interestingly, the ¡®Rattlesnake¡¯ was expected to come to Cody¡¯s aid at WrestleMania 40, where the former Stardust took on Roman Reigns. This, however, did not happen as Austin could not reach an agreement with the company. The spot then went to The Undertaker, who confronted The Rock when he interfered in the main event. As such, the possibility of him being involved in the Cody Rhodes-John Cena feud can't be ruled out.
