In reply, PBKS were also under pressure, losing four wickets in a chase of just 96. However, Nehal Wadhera held the innings together with a composed knock. Shashank¡¯s dismissal added tension, but Wadhera accelerated with a flurry of boundaries and smashed Suyash for 15 runs in an over to swing momentum. Stoinis eventually sealed the win with the final blow. With this victory, PBKS moved up to second in the points table, while RCB remained without a home win.
