Mithali Raj's Girls Return Home After Their Good Run In World Cup And Are Welcomed With Open Arms
They made it to the final after 12 years.
The Indian women's cricket team returned home to a rousing reception in Mumbai in the wee hours of the morning.
Mithali Raj's girls finished as runners up after losing the final to England on July 23. They had a great run and their performances made all those at home sit up and take notice.

They may have lost the final, but the India Eves won our hearts. It was evident from the way fans turned up at the airport to welcome them a great campaign.
For the first time, the country has a new set of idols to cheer on the cricket field. The Women in Blue are certainly ruling the roost and hopefully the game will go forward from here on.
ICC
The BCCI is planning a big event to honour the players and it will only be decided once all of them are back in the country as some members are still in England.
Well done girls! You deserve all the accolades and things will only get better now.
