On a hot day in Rawalpindi back in 2004, Pakistan were about to find out the cost of allowing The Wall to settle down. What followed was a batting masterclass and an extremely tired opposition at the end of innings.

Dravid came out to bat after Virender Sehwag departed for a duck. Slowly he settled in and soon had the likes of Shoaib Akhtar at his mercy.
Beautiful shots along with good defending strokes punctuated his innings as the fielders ran this way and that.

It was not a day to remember to for the Pakistanis as they had no answer to The Wall's elegance with the willow.
He eventually perished attempting a reverse sweep as India were looking for a declaration. He helped his team amass 600 and win the match by an innings. It would ensure their first Test series win against Pakistan in Pakistan.
Dravid finished off with 270 in 495 balls. He hit 34 fours and 1 six in a knock which will go down in history as one of his best.
