Wriddhiman Saha Dedicates His T20 Hundred To IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan And Prays For His Safe Return
A nice gesture indeed.
Wriddhiman Saha came back in style with a 62-ball 129 for Bengal in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy vs Arunachal Pradesh. He dedicated the knock to IAF pilot Abhinandan Varthaman who was captured by the Pakistan Army after air strikes on February 26.
Ever since the Pulwama attack, there has been a lot of political tension between India and Pakistan. India reportedly killed over 300 terrorists. Pakistan retaliated by violating Indian airspace a day later.
Saha tweeted to thank his fans and wished for the safe return of Abhinandan.
Thank You everyone for your wishes for my today¡¯s knock. This innings is very special to me and I dedicate this inning to India¡¯s brave son IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan. I pray that he returns to India, safe. Jai Hind. ??#IAF #WingCommander #Abhinandan

Things are really escalating and the two countries are on the brink of war once again. The last time we had a full-scale war with Pakistan was in 1971.
