WWE SmackDown results: Bianca Belair and Naomi defend Women¡¯s Tag Team Championship against Nia Jax and Candice LeRae
Naomi was a last-minute addition to the Women¡¯s Tag Team Championship picture as she teamed up with Bianca Belair to defend the belts against WWE Women¡¯s Champion Nia Jax and LeRae as Jade Cargill is out due to an injury.
Bianca Belair and Naomi have successfully defended the WWE Women¡¯s Tag Team Championship against Nia Jax and Candice LeRae on the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Naomi picked up the win for her team, pinning LeRae in SmackDown's main event on December 20.

That is because Belair's original tag team partner, Jade Cargill, with whom she won the belts, is out with an injury.
Jade Cargill's injury
There are some uncertainties about Cargill¡¯s injury, which, according to the WWE storyline, was suffered on the November 22 episode of SmackDown when she was attacked backstage and left on the hood of a car.
However, according to others, including PWInsider and Bryan Alvarez, Cargill has suffered a legitimate injury outside the ring. Cargill is said to have sustained the injury while she was on vacation in the Bahamas.
"Jade Cargill, by the way, I don't care what you read online, okay? Jade Cargill is injured, and it's serious, and I don't know when she's going to be back," Alvarez said.
Despite her injury, Cargill and Belair were not stripped of their WWE Women¡¯s Tag Team Championships, and Naomi was brought in to take her place.

Before she got into the ring, Belair went to hand one of the titles to Naomi, who said she wouldn¡¯t take it until she had earned it¡ªwhich she has now, pinning LeRae.
