Who is Enzo Amore? Professional wrestler, fired from the WWE over sexual assault allegations, hits out at AEW
Enzo Amore recently hit out at All Elite Wrestling for ¡®failing to create a star¡¯. He was a part of the WWE main roster for a couple of years. He was eventually let go following sexual assault allegations.

Former WWE star Enzo Amore recently became the talk of the wrestling world when he cut a passionate promo in which he claimed that All Elite Wrestling (AEW), the Stamford-based promotion¡¯s biggest rival, has ¡®never created a star¡¯. This has led to speculation of the former Cruiserweight champion returning to the ¡®global leader in sports entertainment¡¯. Amore was an integral part of the WWE main roster from 2016 to 2018 when he was fired following a major controversy.
Why was Enzo Amore fired from the WWE despite his talent?
Enzo Amore and Big Cass made their WWE main roster debut in 2016 on the Raw after WrestleMania and soon emerged as a mainstay of the tag team division. They feuded with the likes of The Dudleys and Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, impressing the WWE Universe with their chemistry. Amore, in particular, stood out because of his stellar mic skills.
Amore eventually tried to consolidate his standing as a singles performer after parting with Cass. He even feuded with his former partner in a bid to get over as a solo act. Amore¡¯s efforts paid off when he won the Cruiserweight Championship in November 2017 after delivering a low blow to Nevile. He then turned heel and dropped the title to Kalisto but soon regained it using unfair means. Amore¡¯s reign, however, ended on an abrupt note when he was fired in January 2018 following sexual assault allegations. These allegations stemmed from an incident in 2017, and he denied them on social media.
A few months later, he attended the Survivor Series Premium Live Event and tried to create a scene. Following this, he was removed from the arena and barred from attending future events.
The road ahead
Coming back to the present, Amore is working as a freelancer. This essentially means that he is not signed to any promotion. The WWE, meanwhile, is gearing up for WrestleMania 41. The likes of John Cena, Jey Uso, Cody Rhodes, and Gunther are set to be part of the event. ¡®The Shows of Shows¡¯ will be held in Las Vegas in April
