Both the iPhone XS and XS Max are up for pre-purchase on Flipkart and the Airtel online store, available in all three colour variants (Silver, Space Grey, and Gold) and storage versions.

For its part, Flipkart has an exchange offer of up to Rs 13,500 on all older iPhones. You can also avail an additional 5 percent discount if you pre-order using an HDFC Bank credit card, RBL Bank credit card, or the Axis Bank Buzz credit card. The site is also offering EMI options start from Rs 4,149 per month. You know, so you have time to find black market buyers for your various donor organs.

Similarly, the Airtel Online Store is offering a 5 percent cashback on Axis Bank and Citi Bank credit cards, but only for those that opt for the 12 and 24 month EMI options. They¡¯re also allowing you the option to pick up the device from a nearby Airtel store when the launch starts at 6pm September 28, or they¡¯ll ship it to your address at a slightly later date.
It¡¯s stupefying to see how, in just a year or so, Apple has made it commonplace to lay eyes on an iPhone priced at over Rs 1 lakh and not bat an eyelid. Whether or not these premium models will actually sell in India is still anyone¡¯s guess.
Then again, people elsewhere in the world don't seem to be flinching and cowering over their endangered pockets.
