Google Pixel 10 series camera specs rumored: Samsung GN2 sensor to power next-gen photography
According to recent rumors, the base model Pixel 10 will get a telephoto lens for the first time. However, this could be done to save money by reducing the primary and ultrawide camera sensors to those found in the Pixel 9a.

Google Pixel 10 series camera leak: With its noteworthy camera enhancements, Google's upcoming Pixel 10 series is generating enthusiasm. A triple-camera configuration, including a telephoto lens, which was previously only available on the Pro models, is reportedly coming to the regular Pixel model for the first time.
By improving zoom capabilities, this feature hopes to give customers greater photographic options. However, the primary and ultrawide sensors may be lowered to those found in the Pixel 9a to make room for the telephoto lens.
In the meantime, it is anticipated that the Pixel 10 Pro will keep the camera hardware from its predecessor, preserving its high-end imaging capabilities. By striking a balance between cutting-edge capabilities and affordability, these tactical adjustments may reinvent the attractiveness of the Pixel series.?
Google Pixel 10 series camera leaks
According to a new leak by OnLeaks and Android Headlines, the Pixel 10 will include three rear-facing cameras instead of only two. It was unexpected, but it appears that Android Authority now has more information about the cameras on the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro models.
Citing close to official sources, the article claims that the Pixel 10 would include an entirely new back camera configuration. This year, we'll see a telephoto camera in addition to the standard primary (wide) and ultrawide cameras.
However, according to the insider, Google had to reduce the primary and ultrawide camera sensors to the ones seen in the Pixel 9a in order to include a telephoto camera. In fact, it's yet uncertain how well or poorly these will function in comparison to the Pixel 9. Better (higher-resolution) sensors were available with the Pixel 9 than with the current A-series diluted hardware.

According to reports, the new telephoto camera is a Samsung 3J1 camera module with 11 megapixels. The camera setup on the Pixel 10 Pro (and Pixel 10 Pro XL) is the same as that on the Pixel 9 Pro series. According to reports, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will have a little better primary camera and employ the primary camera from the Pixel 9a rather than the sensor from the Pixel 8a.
It's true that the Pixel 9a and Pixel 10 won't compete or eat into each other's sales if a telephoto is added to the regular Pixel series (or base versions). With the addition of more high-end features like a high-refresh-rate display, an updated processor, and more, Google has lately elevated its Pixel A-series into a premium product.
The base and premium Pixel versions felt out of place because of these features, which made them look alike on paper despite having differing prices.
