Android Users Can Now Delete Last 15 Minutes Of Search History: Here's How
Enabling this would clear your recent search history on not just the device but also the ¡®My Activity¡¯ page that keeps a track of your activities across all Google apps.
In May last year, as a part of Google I/O 2021, Google had announced a bunch of cool features that would enhance the privacy of the users. One particular feature allowed for the device to delete the most recent search made -- in the last 15 minutes -- in their search history from the Google App.

The feature was rolled on to the iOS variant of the Google App sometime last year, but there was no tentative date for the feature to arrive on Google¡¯s own operating system. Now finally, nearly a year later, the feature is now rolling out to Android users.
The rollout of the feature was confirmed by a Google spokesperson Ned Adriance in a conversation with The Verge.
He said in a statement, ¡°We're currently rolling this feature out on the Google app for Android and expect it to be available to everyone using the app in the next few weeks," said Adriance while hinting it may be coming to other operating systems. [We're] continuing to explore ways to bring this helpful feature to other surfaces.¡±
How to enable this feature
To enable this, first head to the Google Search app on your device. Next, head to the user icon, on the top right-hand corner and you should see a ¡®Delete the last 15 minutes¡¯ option.

The feature can come in handy if you¡¯re searching for stuff that can put you in trouble. However, this won¡¯t work on Google¡¯s other apps such as YouTube or Chrome (in case you opened a web page following the search). There is no timeline for this feature to surface on Google¡¯s desktop search as of now.
