Countdown To iPhone 15 Series: New iPhones Could Launch On September 12
According to Bloomberg's Murk Gurman, the new iPhone 15 series is expected to launch on Tuesday, September 12
The iPhone 15 series is coming next month. As is customary for Apple, the company will release its latest iteration of the flagship iPhone in September. Even then, Apple hasn't given any exact date for the launch. Speculations claimed that the launch will take place on September 13, but it appears that the launch could take place a day earlier.
iPhone 15 on September 12?
According to Bloomberg's Murk Gurman, the new iPhone 15 series is expected to launch on Tuesday, September 12. Apple is expected to release the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Pre-orders for the same are said to begin on September 22.
Gurman tweeted that the iPhone 15 series launch will most likely happen on Tuesday, September 12. "Signs are increasingly pointing to September 12," he wrote. Earlier, he claimed that the launch would take place on September 12 or September 13.

In addition, it appears that the Apple event will stick to a hybrid format with pre-recorded video like last year's iPhone 14 launch event, with people watching at the Apple campus. The iPhone 14 series was released on September 7 and pre-orders began on September 9.

In classic Apple fashion, the company hasn't made any details of the launch public yet. The upcoming iPhone 15 series is expected to come with a series of upgrades, including a USB Type-C port. In addition, the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max could come with the Dynamic Island feature that is currently exclusive to the iPhone 14 Pro models.

It also appears that the iPhone 15 Pro version could be powered by the Apple A17 Bionic chip while the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models could come with the A16 Bionic chip. In addition, the iPhone 15 Pro could come with a 6GB RAM and up to 2TB storage on the high-model.
