Elon Musk¡¯s Proud Mom Reveals How Elon Was ¡®Brilliant¡¯ From A Young Age
The brilliance of his mind can be dated back all the way to a time when he was barely 17-18 years old.
Some love him some despise him, but it is no secret than Elon Musk is an extraordinary man, who has managed to achieve some unbelievably difficult feats -- whether its successfully establishing his own rocket company SpaceX or making commercial electric cars of the future our present, with Tesla.

However, the brilliance of Elon Musk's mind can be dated back all the way to a time when he was barely 17-18 years old. Elon Musk¡¯s mother, Maye Musk recently shared a tweet tagging Elon where the educational institution Elon was a part of had to test him again, just to believe the high score that he got in his previous test was real.
Maye said in the tweet, ¡°I found your computer aptitude test from when you were 17. If I remember correctly, they had to retest you because they had never seen such a high score. No wonder you are such a brilliant engineer. #ProudMom¡±

The letter was from Universiteit van Pretoria in South Africa, in which the then Director of Information Management, Me J.L.M. Wiechers requested the institution to reconduct the computer programming aptitude test for Musk. The letter also reveals previous outstanding results with A+ in both operating and programming.

Elon Musk graduated from Pretoria Boys High School in the year 1989 and during the same year, he also decided to apply for a Canadian passport through his Candian-born mother. In June 1989, he was in Canada working odd jobs after he failed to locate his great uncle there.
In 1990 he then started studying at Queen¡¯s University in Kingston, Ontario, and two years later he was in the US completing his Bachelor¡¯s in Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School as well as a Bachelor¡¯s of Arts degree in Physics.

Soon, after dropping out of Stanford while doing his PhD, Elon Musk decided to instead be a part of the internet boom. He developed Zip2 (web software company) collaborating with his brother Kimbal and Greg Kouri.
After selling Zip2 to Compaq, Elon Musk worked on X.com which was eventually merged with online bank Confinity and was renamed PayPal. And as we know it, the rest is history.
