Elon Musk Says Verified Twitter Accounts Will Be 'Prioritised' Here On
As a user pointed out in a Tweet reply, this could mean that Twitter Blue subscribers would get "special attention."
Twitter is back at it! After randomly giving back verified badges to a few famous users yesterday, Elon Musk says that now all verified accounts on the social network will be "prioritised."
In a Tweet, Musk wrote the following - "Verified accounts are now prioritized," without giving any further details. Does this mean that users who pay for Twitter Blue will now receive priority visibility on the feed? Will verified users receive some kind of special treatment in terms of feature rollouts?

Prioritising paid subscribers on Twitter
It might mean exactly that... and more! As a user pointed out in a Tweet reply, this could mean that Twitter Blue subscribers would get "special attention." Now, non-subscribers could see their visibility limited when compared to the paid users. Essentially, if you depend on Twitter to run a successful enterprise or to expand the reach of your audience, Elon Musk wants your money.

Earlier, on March 19, Elon Musk had stated how Twitter would prioritise replies based on 1. People a user follows, 2. Verified accounts, and 3. Unverified accounts. In the same Tweet, he had explained how "verified accounts are 1000x harder to game by bot and troll armies." He ended the Tweet by saying "You get what you pay for."
In the coming weeks, Twitter will prioritize replies by:

1. People you follow
2. Verified accounts
3. Unverified accounts
Verified accounts are 1000X harder to game by bot & troll armies.
There is great wisdom to the old saying: ¡°You get what you pay for.¡±
But it's unclear what users are paying for, considering how random (famous, of course) people on Twitter found their blue ticks were reinstated after being taken away. While Musk has accepted that he's paying for Twitter Blue subscriptions of author Stephen King and several others, it's unclear if he intends to "pay" for the subscriptions of Indian celebs as well.
