Google's 'Interview Warmup' Tool Uses AI To Help Users Prepare For Interviews
Essentially, Google's Interview Warmup AI tool is a real-time exercise that transcribers a user's answers and offers them to keep practicing
Artificial intelligence tools like ChatGPT and Bard have changed the way people perceive queries in the contemporary world. With just a few straightforward prompts, the tools can generate detailed content on a myriad of topics from around the world and across disciplines.
But did you ever think that AI tools could help people prepare for interviews? A TikTok user, Marisa, who goes by the handle @productdesign recently shared a snippet of Google's new "Interview Warmup" tool.
Using Google's warm up tool
The TikTok video (that Indians can't view because TikTok is banned here) begins with the overlay text "I tried Google's new 'interview warm-up' tool and I want to cry."
The user then showed how the tool may be used. Essentially, the AI tool is a real-time exercise that transcribers a user's answers. The AI tool is able to provide feedback on the user's talking points, Upworthy reported.
Users have the choice to keep practicing the same questions or move on to new ones. The video has gone viral since then, amassing over 1.5 million views. While the tool itself seems more helpful than forcing a friend to act as the interviewer, many users had concerns about how the Google tool operates.

"Cool but be aware they are 100% taking your answers, stories, and examples to spit out by some other AI tool 'how to answer this interview question.'," another user claimed.
