India's First Ever All-Electric Motorcycle Spotted Making Test Runs, Ups Anticipation
Tork Motors was the company which had unveiled India&rsquos first all-electric motorcycle named T6X Surprisingly the company had vanished since then and there was no news of the electric motorcycle whatsoever. Recent images by Zigwheels seem to have changed this now. The Rs 125 lakh ex-showroom bike as mentioned at the time of its launch has now been spotted testing for the very first time.
If you recall, a completely new brand had emerged in the two-wheeler segment a couple of years back, claiming to revolutionise it with a unique offering. At the time, the company had proposed an all-electric motorcycle, which, as expected, garnered much attention, to the point of a 1000 bookings being made within the day of the announcement.

The Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom) bike, as mentioned at the time of its launch, has now been spotted testing for the very first time. The images reveal that the motorcycle is in a production ready stage, donning a sporty, sharp design across the headlamps and the fuel tank area that will be used as a storage. The entire bike had been covered under heavy camouflage.
Information provided by Tork Motors about the T6X earlier mentioned a 6 kW electric motor powering the bike with a maximum torque of 27 Nm and a top speed of 100 kmph. The company claims that the motorcycle will be able to deliver a range of 100 kms on a single charge and will also come with a fast charging support that fills in 80 percent of the battery within an hour.

As for the features on the bike, the new Tork T6X will be getting a coloured instrumentation complete with smartphone connectivity. There might also be LED headlamps at the front, disc brakes at both the ends and even ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) as an option.
