After 50 years of debuting an Aston Martin model in the Sean Connery starrer Goldfinger, James Bond series will finally go green with its mobility options. This time, the Aston Martin that will be seen in the next iteration of the series will be an electric one!
If recent reports are to be believed, James Bond will be seen driving a ?25,000 (Rs 19.6 Lakh) electric car in the next James Bond movie. Apparently, Director Cary Joji Fukunaga, 41 has been the one behind the decision to go green.

The vehicle to be used for this will be a limited edition Aston Martin Rapide E, the first ever electric car by the British auto maker. 'He [Fukunaga] is working directly with Aston Martin to get one of their electric cars ready for its big close-up¡¯, mentions the report.
To date, the title of the movie is expected to be ¡®Shatterhand¡¯. With its shoot beginning next month, the James Bond movie will hit the screens in 2020. With one of the 155 unique vehicles due to be used in the next movie, the decision might turn out to be a signature move for the series, sending out a strong word for the dire need of switching to electric vehicles to save our environment.
