As a BEV, the Baby II is powered by removable lithium-ion battery packs. But do not consider it as any other toy car. It comes fully equipped with a limited slip differential, regenerative braking, as well as two power modes. While the 1kW child mode has a top speed of 20km/h, a 4kW adult mode gets that up to 45km/h that can be further increased by 10km/h through an optional upgrade.
