Genius Man Lets Drone Take His Dog For A Walk During COVID-19 Self Quarantine
Surely, in such a situation, if you have a dog, that poor pooch would be equally bored staying indoors. They¡¯d feel uncomfortable too, not being allowed to play outside, or meet their friends or taking a stroll for the occasional number ones and twos. However, one genius in Israel has thought of a crazy cool idea to automate the walking of his dog, without him being actually present with him.
Today, the coronavirus has infected over 209,000 people and claimed lives of over 8000, with situations really delicate in places like Italy, South Korea the United States, among others.
With COVID-19 spreading at a rapid pace, governments around the world have asked their citizens to go under self-quarantine until things get clear. People are working from home, kids are studying from home and they¡¯re only stepping out when absolutely necessary.
Surely, in such a situation, if you have a dog, that poor pooch would be equally bored staying indoors. They¡¯d feel uncomfortable too, not being allowed to play outside, or meet their friends or taking a stroll for the occasional number ones and twos.
Moreover, if a dog stays indoors for long, they tend to become sedentary and put on weight (just like us) which can result in severe health issues for your best friend. And this ranges from the breed you have, the age of the dog and his temperament, among other factors.
However, one genius in Israel has thought of a crazy cool idea to automate the walking of his dog, without him being actually present with him.
He attached the leash with a DJI Phantom drone and let it fly in the direction the doggo wanted to walk, while controlling it from his porch. While the dog was freely strolling on the street, the drone was there to make sure it doesn¡¯t go in the wrong direction.
We don¡¯t really know who this genius is, although this video has been trending on twitter and other social platforms like crazy.
While the doggo might not be enjoying taking walks alone without his best friend, now atleast he can do his ¡®business¡¯ while taking a whiff of fresh air.
Would you do this with your doggo while being in self-quarantine, if you had a drone? Let us know in the comments below. Also, in the meanwhile check out the video:
