Samsung has been at the front of the foldable race when it comes to smartphones. Now, the company has something more hybrid in mind. At CES, Samsung showed off new display concepts, including the slidable and foldable "Flex Hybrid."
Folding and sliding at once
The new concept is able to switch between 10.5-inch and 12.5-inch screen sizes all due to its slidable and foldable design - with the left side of the screen capable of folding, and the right side ready to slide.
In addition, the prototype can switch between 4:3 and 16:10 aspect ratios. And while it still remains a concept, it's a sneak peek into what the future holds for smartphones.
