At IFA 2019, the company just announced its latest nostalgia trip, a new version of the Nokia 2720 flip phone. Like its predecessors, this is also part of the 'Nokia Originals' lineup.
If you don't remember, the Nokia 2720 was originally launched in September 2009 as a clamshell device. It had an external display that let you see incoming call numbers. When a call came in, you could simply flip it open to answer, and then flip it closed to hang up. And it's just as satisfying to do with the new device.
Aside from that, the new 2720 has a sleeker updated design, with a larger 2.8-inch display on the inside. The outer panel has a 1.3-inch display that also shows other notifications now. The device runs the newer proprietary KaiOS from HMD, which has updated features like access to Google, Google Maps, WhatsApp, YouTube, Facebook, and even Google Assistant.

The 2720 is a dual-SIM device with LTE support, and can even become a Wi-Fi hotspot. That's great for when your main phone is out of data. It also boasts an impressive 27 days of battery standby time. The phone will be available black and gray later in September, starting at Rs 7,000, though it's unclear if and when it's coming to India.
That wasn't the only addition though, HMD also brought back two other Nokia feature phones to announced.

First up is the Nokia 800, which looks like it could be right at home on a construction site. Where we used to have the meme-worthy durability of the Nokia 3310, this one looks to be specifically made as a rugged member of the brand. It also runs KaiOS but also features both an IP68 dust and waterproof rating, as well as a MIL-STD-810G (military grade) rating for against humidity, noise, low pressure, and temperature. According to HMD it can also survive two-meter falls onto concrete and has 43 hours of standby time.

Lastly is the Nokia 110, which is an upgraded version of the ultra-cheap Nokia 105. Thanks to a newer OS, this device now also lets you load 32GB of music onto it, snap photos with a basic camera, and listen to the radio. It'll be available later this month as well for around Rs 1,000.
