Elon Musk has struck again! As Twitter's new owner, the SpaceX and Tesla founder has reiterated plans to charge fee from creators on the social media platform. Musk on Tuesday said that Twitter might begin charging a small fee from commercial and government users, while adding that "Twitter will always be free for casual users."

In addition, Musk wants to make Twitter's algorithms public to gain public trust. He has also vowed to take care of Twitter's spam bot problem by authenticating all human beings, although it's unclear how he intends to do this.
Musk wants to reshape Twitter
On April 25, 2022, Twitter's board of directors accepted Elon Musk's offer to buy the social media giant for $54.20 per share, or $44 billion in total - the same price named in Musk's initial offer on April 14.

It appears that Musk had his eyes set on Twitter for a long time. His mission to acquire the platform became a reality only recently. But Musk had purchased 9.1% of Twitter on April 4. This made him the largest individual shareholder of Twitter.
Among his controversial changes planned for Twitter is making the company cost-effective by reducing the salary of board members to $0. This, he said in a Tweet, would save Twitter $3 million every year.
