What To Expect From The Apple Event In September 2019: iPhone, iPad And Watch

Apple's September event is the most awaited among all the other events it conducts over the year. For it is the event when we get to see the new iPhone or rather iPhone(s) that the Cupertino giant finally unveils to the whole world.

However, the September Apple event isn't always all about the iPhone, as Apple also refreshes the Apple Watch around that time, along with the iPad.

Less than a month away, let's see what interesting announcements Apple has in store for us.

The iPhone 11, 11 Max and 11R

With iPhone X, Apple completely overhauled its design language which was also followed with last year's iPhone Xs and the new and large Xs Max. This year we can expect a considerable change in the design and sadly, a hideous one in our opinion.

Leaks have indicated a triple camera setup (in case of 11 and 11 Max) at the back, housed in a square unit. The triple camera units are expected to house a standard camera, a telephoto as well as an ultrawide lens.The 11R (successor to the iPhone XR) gets a dual-camera setup in the similar square housing, which we can expect to be similar on the lines of iPhone X or Xs.

Leaks also reveal a 5.8-inch OLED on the iPhone 11, 6.5-inch OLED on the iPhone 11 Max and 6.1-inches Retina LCD on the 11R. All the three phones will get the broad notch on the top of the screen which houses the FaceID sensors. We can expect the phones to be powered by a faster and efficient A13 processor made by Apple.

Apple Watch Series 5

Apple is also expected to bring a refresh to the line-up of its Apple Watch. We saw minimal design changes on the Apple Watch Series 4, and we can expect a lot more to happen this year with Apple's smartwatch.

For starters, you can expect a new S5 chip to power the Watch Series 5. The smartwatch is also expected to feature a non-intrusive way to track your blood sugar level. As last year, we'll see the cellular as well as standard GPS variants of the Apple Watch Series 5.

We could expect a sharper display on the Apple Watch with a higher pixel density.

Apple iPad Pro 2019

While the latest iPad Pro was unveiled in October, chances are we could see this getting launched alongside the iPhone 11s and the Apple Watch Series 5.

Moreover, since it got such a major design change last year, we could expect the iPad to retain the aesthetics with minor tweaks (specifically pertaining to the structural integrity) along with a hardware bump up, with the new A13 processor that will be equipped on the iPhones. We could also expect faster FaceID features on the 2019 iPad Pro.

What else?

Apart from the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch product announcements, we also expect Apple to give us an update on iOS 13 and new product segments it got into this year like the Apple Card, among others.
