As Covid-19 pandemic gripped our lives in early 2020, world's largest tech companies suffered a downward spiral at the beginning. Despite all of this, 25 of the top 120 richest people in the world are all tech billionaires -- people who've started and run some of the largest tech companies in the world. All the world's richest tech billionaires are worth $2.5 trillion in 2021, which is a 80% increase in their wealth from $1.4 trillion in early 2020.
Beyond Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg, it's good to see Indian tech tycoon Shiv Nadar who secured the 16th spot among the world's top 25 tech billionaires. In total, there are 365 tech billionaires on the 2021 Forbes billionaire list, up from 241 last year.
