Xiaomi Mi 10 With 108MP Camera Confirmed For March 31 Launch In India, See Its Full Specs
Coronavirus might have shut countries down but it is not stopping the tech majors from conducting their product launches. Another upcoming one in the list is Xiaomi India, which is set to launch its Mi 10 smartphones in the country on March 31 post its global launch on March 27.
Scheduled for 12:30 pm on March 31, the launch of Mi 10 by Xiaomi will be streamed online through Xiaomi India¡¯s social media handles. The company is sure to launch the Mi 10 but whether its step-up version - the Mi 10 Pro will make it to India or not is still a mystery.
As for the Mi 10, we have already seen what the smartphone has to offer, with its debut in China. So as far as the specifications of the Mi 10 go, almost everything is known about it already.
To start with the firepower, the device is powered by a top-of-the-line Snapdragon 865 SoC and runs the latest Android 10-based MIUI 11. Xiaomi will offer the Mi 10 in three different memory variants, including an 8GB/128GB version, a 8GB/256GB variant and a top end 12GB/256GB option.
Xiaomi has used a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display on the Mi 10. The display comes with a fingerprint sensor underneath it as well as a punch-hole selfie camera at the top-left, a preferred position for the gamers.
Camera setup on the device includes a 108MP primary sensor, essentially the highlight of the device, coupled with a 13MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro lens as well as a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, the Mi 10 gets a 20MP selfie shooter.
All this is backed by a 4,780 mAh battery that is able to draw power at a rate of up to 30W and supports wireless charging as well. Interestingly, the Mi 10 also supports Power Delivery 3.0 as well as reverse charging.
It is not sure when the Mi 10 will actually be available in the Indian market. As and when it is, it is surely going to be a tough contender to all the other offerings in its price segment. This includes the OnePlus 8 as the device is expected to be priced around the Rs 40,000 mark.
