In a Threads post, the Meta CEO wrote that "it's time to move on" from Elon Musk's empty calls for a cage fight.
We might not get to see the battle of tech titans, it seems. After X owner Elon Musk challenged Meta's CEO Mark Zuckerberg to a cage fight, both tech moguls have been engaged in a constant back-and-forth. Now, it appears that Zuckerberg is done. In a Threads post, the Meta CEO wrote that "it's time to move on" from Elon Musk's empty calls for a cage fight.
No cage fight for Zuckerberg and Musk
"We can all agree Elon isn't serious," he wrote, while claiming that Musk refused to confirm a date.
In screenshots shared by Elon Musk on X, Zuckerberg said the following - "If you still want to do a real MMA fight, then you should train on your own and let me know when you're ready to compete."

To this, Elon Musk responded with the following message - "I will be in Palo Alto on Monday. Let's fight in your Octagon." In addition, Musk said that he has "not been practicing much, apart from a brief bout with Lex Fridman today."
"While I think it is very unlikely, given our size difference, perhaps you are a modern day Bruce Lee and will somehow win."
Following this, Zuckerberg shared a post on Threads, claiming that "Elon isn't serious and it's time to move on."

"I offered a real date," he wrote. "Elon won't confirm a date, then says he needs surgery, and now asks to do a practice round in my backyard instead. If Elon ever gets serious about a real date and official event, he knows how to reach me. Otherwise, time to move on. I'm going to focus on competing with people who take the sport seriously," Zuckerberg wrote.
