CES 2022: Wearable Patch Uses Mild Electric Shocks To Prevent Premature Ejaculation

Sexual health and wellness company, Morari Medical has developed a smart patch that allows males to enhance and improve their sexual performance by delaying ejaculation.

It uses neuromodulation to achieve this. To the unaware, neuromodulation is the process of sending mild electric pulses to the nerves to control certain behaviours. In the aforementioned device's case (which has been named Mor) it sends the current to delay the ejaculation, helping the individual last longer than he otherwise would.

The device is stuck to the man's perineum -- the region between the anus and the scrotum -- using chemical-free adhesives, similar to that of a band-aid. The device pairs to a smartphone using Bluetooth for sending/receiving commands.

While the product has been in development for several years, they've managed to tweak a ton of its design cues and software features. For instance, now the app gets an enhanced graphical user interface to keep the settings at the right levels to allow couples to experience more pleasure for long.

Morari Medical is one of the few companies that has continued to have a physical appearance at CES 2022. The device is still under development and won't be out for launch before Q1 of 2023 after they've received regulatory approvals.
