On the festive occasion, devotees around the world seek blessings from the elephant-headed god of the Hindu scriptures, Lord Ganesha.
To celebrate the day and its significance, IFS Susanta Nanda shared an adorable video on X, formally Twitter. In the clip that instantly pulled viewers onto the platform, a majestic elephant walks towards the camera. What is peculiar about the animal is that the elephant only has one tusk on his face, something that is considered a defining feature of Lord Ganesha.
The Indian Forest Service official invoked the spirit of Ganesha by sharing the video of the single-tusk elephant. Nanda also added a verse from ¡®Ekadantaya Vakratundaya¡¯, a devotional song for the Hindu god.
In his caption, the IFS officer wrote, ¡°Ekadantaya vakratundaya Gauri tanaya ya dhimahi. Gajeshanaya bhalchandraya Shree ganeshaya dhimahi. Blessed Ganesh Chaturthi to you all.¡±

In the video, a lone-tusked elephant emerges from thick bushes within a forest area. It sways its trunk and gazes at the person filming. Shortly after, it steps onto the forest road and appears to make a sprint towards the vehicle, but then suddenly stops.
