Popular YouTuber and social media influencer Apoorva Mukhija, a.k.a. The Rebel Kid, after being slammed on the latest India's Got Latent controversy, once again gets slammed on social media for her earlier comments made on Bengaluru city.
Recently, one of Apoorva's earlier videos is going viral on social media, where she is seen ranting about Bengaluru and the stint she spent in the city.
In the wake of the controversy, the earlier remarks of the Rebel Kid have once again sparked criticism online.
'Bengaluru city has no soul'
In the small clips that are going viral, Apoorva is seen describing her experience of living in the tech capital, Bengaluru. During the conversation with content creator Ayush Wadhwa in October 2024, Apoorva said she lived in the city for some time after college.
¡°I hated, hated living in that city,¡± she further said. ¡°I one hundred percent, truly, truly believe that that city has no soul. That city genuinely has no soul.¡±
She lived in Bengaluru when she was employed at Dell. Her stay in the city was not a great experience as she compared the Silicon Valley of India with Mumbai. She said she did not enjoy her time in the Silicon Valley of India and compared it unfavourably with Mumbai.
'Bengaluru has no creativity like people in Mumbai'
Apart from this, Apoorva went on to opine that Bengaluru lacks creativity in people. According to her, in Bengaluru, everyone is focusing on making money in any possible way, which is a vibe that she never got along with. ¡°Bangalore mein har kisi ko dhanda banana hai"
Everyone is working 14 hours in a startup company, or else they are doing a 9-to-5 job, she added.
Language barrier is a big issue
Another thing that the influencer pointed out was the language barrier, which made her stay more difficult. She shared that the autowallahs in Bengaluru refused to respond to her because she could not speak Kannada.

Nowhere in the video she mentioned that she like doesn't like kannada language
"People like this will never be satisfied even if it is more than 6 inch. But I stay in Bangaluru and I can say it is the best City in India to stay if I just forget the Traffic."
