Did Nintendo respond to the viral post?
According to Switchwonews, there are reports on social media mentioning that Nintendo has since responded by placing a retail and account-level ban on the content creator. The ban will prevent him from future purchases and interactions with the store and brand.
However, the report says that the news hasn't been confirmed publicly, but the report claims that multiple sources reveal that an internal store memo flagged the creator by name.

"Good that doesn't look like an accident but malicious intent, no screen breaks like that unless you hit it with a hard object," another added.
While some found the act 'disrespectful.'
