Australia is known to have a 'fire season,' but this time it's particularly alarming and experts have attributed it to climate change. Right now, in Australia, it's a living nightmare for locals.
The land is filled with charred bodies of koalas and dead cockatoos falling out of trees. Fire has spread to the eastern and southern coasts of Australia. This is where most people and animals live. So far, 15 million acres of land have burned down.
There is a growing fear that entire species of plants and animals have been wiped out by the bushfires. So far, nearly a billion animals have died, and if that does not alarm us, nothing will.
