@jayotibanerjee Ma'am, can we have a campaign to cover wells by cotton fibre/jute nets to prevent animals from falling in them? Is it feasible/practical? Seeing lots of such reports. And we only have ~9000 leopards.

In another case of a rescue job done well, three leopard cubs found in a sugarcane field in Pune earlier this year were reunited with their mother. Given that the human-animal conflict is at its peak today, this story did its part in abating fears that the outcome would be bad.
Reportedly, March is one time of the year that such cases increase. This is when sugarcane is harvested and leopards usually stray into these areas in search for food.
