Fans outraged at Netflix after ¡®Screwballs!¡¯ omits Suga, Jungkook from BTS' military mention during Jin¡¯s appearance: 'Are they mad?'

BTS¡¯s Jin is back in front of the camera with a special guest appearance on Netflix¡¯s variety show Screwballs! ¡ª but the excitement has been met with backlash. While Jin¡¯s participation spans episodes 13 to 15, only episode 13 has aired so far. Despite the laughs and lighthearted games, viewers quickly caught on to an issue that¡¯s sparked frustration online over the omission of Suga and Jungkook's name from a segment that mentioned BTS members currently serving in the military.

Jin joins ¡®Screwballs!¡¯ for fun and games

Following his stint on Kian¡¯s Bizarre B&B, Jin continues his post-army variety show run with Screwballs!. Episode 13, titled Along with the Gods, featured the BTS member in his usual playful mood. He took part in quirky games with the cast and shared some fun banter. At one point, Jin joked that he would bring the rest of his BTS teammates onto the show once they had completed their military service because it offers 'expensive gifts.'

While fans couldn't help but dote over Jin as he continued with his hilarious antics, some were baffled to notice something missing from the captions.

Suga and Jungkook left out of military service mention

When Jin mentioned the other members, the show's captions listed RM, Jimin, and V as currently serving. However, both Suga and Jungkook were missing from that list. Fans were quick to call out the error, especially since both are still completing their military duties ¡ª Suga as a public service worker, and Jungkook as an active-duty soldier.

The omission sparked even more frustration. ¡°Why did the show not include Suga¡¯s name? Are they mad?¡± one fan posted on X. Another wrote, ¡°Ugh they did it again. It's so annoying when these shows try to be lowkey shady, like dude the next to finish their military service are V, Jimin, RM, JK, and Suga.¡± One more added, ¡°Please can they include all members.¡± ""Next to finish their military duty are rm, Jimin and v..." ??? Suga¡¯s absence from the spotlight raises concerns

The outrage is part of a broader concern among fans. Suga, also known by his real name Min Yoongi, has kept a low profile since last year¡¯s DUI-related investigation last year. Though he was cleared of all charges, speculation and scrutiny led to what many believe is an unofficial industry boycott. He hasn¡¯t made any public appearances or posted on social media in months.

Netflix¡¯s failure to mention him, even in a simple caption, adds to growing fears among fans that he¡¯s being deliberately left out.
