The Oscar-nominated called his run a breeze when compared to the daily struggles Emma faces with courage and grace after finishing the race.

"The support out there was incredible because it gave you a little bump and you would go a little bit faster than you should be going," he expressed after placing a marathon over Fogarty's shoulders.
Emma Fogarty defies odd despite epidermolysis bullosa
Emma Fogarty, Ireland's longest-surviving person with epidermolysis bullosa (EB) also known as butterfly skin, was born without skin on her left foot and right arm. People living with EB lack crucial proteins connecting skin layers, making them highly susceptible to tearing, breaking, or blistering from even slight friction or movement. Despite being born with the most severe form of the condition, Emma's incredible resilience has sparked a renewed hope for life among individuals battling the butterfly skin.
¡°This was a dream come true for me and I want to thank Colin, who has been the most supportive, generous and loyal friend I could wish for," Fogarty said, adding, ¡°He has always shown his compassion and empathy for people living with EB and is a true champion in my eyes."
Fogarty and Ferell initially targeted €400,000 ($430,000) for charity, but now aspire to reach €1 million ¨C and have already surpassed 75% of their revised goal, according to the charity's website.
