Viral Video: 10-Year-Old Boy Saves His Mother From Drowning In Pool After She Has A Seizure

A young boy all of 10 years of age showed some great strength and quick thinking after he saved the life of his mother who suffered a seizure in a swimming pool.

The act was caught on the CCTV camera. In the said video, one can see how Gavin Keeney jumped into the pool to save his drowning mother. The incident took place at their home in Oklahoma.

In the clip, one can see how the mother is not able to breathe and could not stay afloat while the son pulls her towards the edge of the swimming pool. Gavin managed to keep his mother's face above the surface of the water for close to a minute until another person arrived to offer help.

The mother later shared the footage on Facebook and praised her son for saving her life.

¡°Gavin had just got out of the pool and was on the porch and that's when he heard me. He jumped in...the dog even tried to get in..he gets me over to the ladder and then my Dad runs in . I'm okay, I took in just a little water we think before Gavin got me. I can't believe I just said that. I can't believe I'm typing this. I CAN believe what I saw in Gavin, my little hero. I just can't believe he HAD to do it and that's what breaks my heart. Thank you God for putting this wonderful little human into my life," Lori Keeny wrote on Facebook.

The man who reached the pool by the end of the clip is Gavin's grandfather who was alerted about the incident.
