The COVID-19 lockdown across the world has left thousands of people jobless, many have been forced to change their careers and take up odd jobs to earn a living.
In one such heartbreaking case, a 14-year-old boy started selling tea after his mother lost her job amid the pandemic. The teenager named, Subhan, sells tea in Nagpada, Bhendi Bazar, and other areas in Mumbai, to support his family.
Subhan's father passed had passed away when he was just two-years-old. Since then his mother had been working to sustain the family, which includes Subhan and his sisters. His mother worked as a school bus attendant.

"My father died twelve years ago. My sisters study via online classes," Subhan was quoted as saying by news agency ANI. The teenager boy says that he will resume his studies after schools reopen.
"My mother is a school bus attendant but schools are closed so we're facing financial crunch. I make tea at a shop in Bhendi Bazaar & sell it in Nagpada, Bhendi Bazaar & other areas. I don't have a shop. I earn Rs 300-400 in a day. I give it to my mother and save a little," the boy said.

A few days ago, a video of an 80-year-old couple selling food at their roadside stall in Delhi¡¯s Malviya Nagar went viral after the interviewer in the video showed how the couple was struggling to make their ends meet in the lockdown.
Soon, the once empty dhaba started seeing people lining up outside it to purchase food. Now, in an attempt to replicate the result, many people are sharing videos of local businesses around them to offer support in these difficult times.
