Meet Abhijita Gupta, The 7-YO Girl Who Has Been Recognised As The World's Youngest Author
A girl named Abhijita Gupta is being recognized as the world's youngest writer by the International Book of Records.
A seven year old girl has been recognised as the world's youngest writer by the International Book of Records. Abhijita Gupta has also been awarded with the title 'Grandmaster of Writing' by the Asia Book of Records, for her poetry and prose writing prowess.
She is the granddaughter of renowned poet duo, Maithilisharan Gupt and Santkavi Shri Siyaramsharan Gupt. So, it is no surprise that she is able to pen beautiful short stories and poems. She published a book called 'Happiness all Around', which is anthology of short stories and poems and its target audience is children.
Penning a book at such a young age gives an insight into the Abhijita's abundance of creativity and imagination, which she will be able to hone even more when she grows up. Currently, a student in Class 2, she took to writing at the age of 5. She lives in Ghaziabad with her parents, her father being a Chartered Accountant and her mother, an engineer-turned-entrepreneur.
In conversation with ANI, she said, "The surroundings and even the little things inspire me. I write about positive things- what I hear, see or feel."
Some of her own poems are 'Mother Earth,' 'Let's try let's fly', 'Study is my best buddy,' and 'Precious friendship'.

Now, Abhijita will now write a book about the ongoing pandemic and its effects on children all over the world. With her prowess, it's very likely that she creates a niche of her own in the world of books, and inspires several other kids to take up writing and reading.
