Bengaluru Woman Makes Kimchi To Welcome Tenant Subletting Her Apartment, Internet Is Mighty Impressed
A Bengaluru landlord receives praise from people on the internet for making Kimchi for a tenant subletting her apartment.
If any city in India has famous landlords, then it has to be Bengaluru. With an influx of working officials moving to the Silicon Valley of India, landlords in the area have also increased. Bizarre stories about strict landlords having sky-rocketing expectations from tenants have recently come out of Bengaluru. However, a new heartwarming tale is bringing tenants to tears.
Bengaluru Landlord Makes Kimchi For Tenant Moving In
A landlord subletting her apartment recently took to Twitter to share news worthy of applause. Twitter user Sanskriti Bist shared how she had made a fresh 1 kg batch of Kimchi for the tenant she was going to sublet her apartment to. Bist made the Korean version of a pickle and stored it in the fridge for when he moved into the place.
In her tweet, Bist cheekily added, ¡°Is there a best landlord award I can apply for.¡± She also later mentioned that she did not in fact make something for her tenant out of the blue but had the idea of giving him a batch of Kimchi when he told her in passing that he liked eating Kimchi.
For those wondering, Kimchi is a traditional banchan (side dish) eaten by locals in South Korea. It is simply a dish consisting of salted and fermented vegetables, most commonly made using napa cabbage or Korean radish. In Bist¡¯s case, she used napa cabbage to make the dish.

While one mentioned how the gesture was rather nice for a landlord in Bengaluru, the best landlord award would have to go to their landlord, who had not increased rent in the last 4 years.
Nice..but best landlord is mine who didn't increase rent last 4years :)
