Brave Or Stupid? 23-YO Man Gets Bitten By A Shark, First Goes To A Bar Instead Of A Hospital!
A 23-year-old man went to surf in Florida when a shark attacked him and he instead of going to the hospital went to have drinks at a bar. Frank O&rsquoRourke was immediately treated by the lifeguards after the attack. He was seen fighting the shark in the video that came out.
No matter how brave we are, if we go into a sea or ocean for water sports or just to splash about, there's always a tiny voice in our head that cautions us against giant toothy animals found in the depths of the water. And God forbid something gets us, going to the hospital would be the first thing most of us would do, right?
Turns out, a man named Frank O¡¯Rourke is not most of us.
Call him different or crazy, but he went to a bar after getting bitten by a shark while surfing at a Jacksonville Beach.

According to the reports, a 23-year-old man went to surf in Florida when a shark attacked him, and he, instead of going to the hospital, went to have drinks at a bar.
Now, while you try to understand the psychology behind it, we must inform you that he was immediately treated by the lifeguards after the attack.
He was seen fighting the shark in the video that came out. He was thrown off the surfboard by the shark around 3:30 p.m on Saturday.
¡°It was kind of panic, like, ¡®Did that just happen?'¡± Berger told ABC News. ¡°It kind of took him a couple seconds to gather himself and realize, like, ¡®Wow, I just got bit by a shark.' And then we all went into the beach.¡±
He was waiting for the next wave when shark¡¯s powerful jaws bit his right arm which according to Orlando Sentinel belonged to a 3-to-4-foot blacktip shark.
RJ Berger, a friend of O¡¯Rourke told WJXT, ¡°It came out of the water after he went over the back of a wave and it landed on him, on his board, and kind of knocked him off his board and bit him on the elbow.¡±
"It kind of took him a couple seconds to gather himself and realise, 'Wow, I just got bit by a shark'."
¡°He immediately went to a bar because he was like, ¡®hey, I got bit by a shark,¡¯ and people were like, ¡®I¡¯ll buy you drinks.¡¯ So he hung out at the pier.¡±
¡°Shark comes out of the water and grabs onto my arm, right by my elbow. Kinda tugs a little bit and thrashes,¡± he told ABC News. ¡°I guess it tasted me and was like, ¡®Nope.'¡±
Frank says he¡¯ll continue to surf despite the incident.
That's very brave of you, Frank, but might we suggest, if something like that happens again, please go to a hospital first. Drinks can really really wait.
