Earlier this week we heard of people stealing whole bottles of hand sanitizer and face masks in the face of a growing crisis in the market.
But things in Barcelona are worse than expected. People are literally posing as doctors to get into people¡¯s homes. No kidding!
According to a Metro UK report, elderly people in Barcelona are being told to watch out for thieves posing as coronavirus doctors attempting to break into their homes.
The report states that police in Barcelona issued an alert to gullible people after two women and a man dressed in white coats rung a bell and pretended they were carrying out medical checks.

In Spain, the death toll from the coronavirus has nearly doubled to 84 as on March 12. Reports state that the situation is most serious in the region of Madrid. Nearly half of the fatalities, as well as infections, have been in the area. The numbers are also increasing in the Basque Country in the north and the northeastern region of Catalonia, where Barcelona is located.
