Hasan Minhaj was flooded with requests online to speak about the controversial Citizenship Act. The millennial Muslim Indian-American comic pulls punches against Modi that no one can. From slamming Indian electoral slugfest and calling it a jalebi because no one knows where Indian politics begins and ends.
The 'millennial' Muslim Indian-American comic, born to immigrant parents, pulls punches against Modi that no one can!
From slamming Indian electoral slugfest and calling it a 'jalebi' (because no one knows where Indian politics begins and ends) to talking about Kashmir, cows and everything that's wrong under the Indian sun, Hasan Minaj covered it all.
In the wake of the alleged police brutality in Jamia Milia Islamia during the CAA protests, Hasan Minhaj's account was flooded with requests online to speak about the controversial Citizenship Act and the man graciously adhered to the requests.
Just a few hours ago, he posted a sneak-peek of the upcoming episode and it's savage AF. From slamming Modi for ill-treating Kashmir post the abrogation of Article 370 to slamming the current religious exclusion that's taking place with the CAA, Minhaj with his witty jibes, categorically takes down the Indian government.

In the video Minhaj says that Prime Minister Modi has gone" mask off on Muslims", condemns the Internet shutdown in Kashmir in the most hilarious way possible, and goes on to say how Modi turned into a 'nightclub bouncer' (metaphorically), overnight, stopping Muslims from entering the 'party'!
Here's what people had to say about Minhaj's CAA episode:

While the Patriot Act is a bold take on controversial topics, it goes without saying that it's faced brickbats for the same. Hasan Minhaj's analysis of Indian politics, with a focus on the country's Lok Sabha elections, faced massive criticisms. "Hasan Minaj, Pakistani agent, yeh Muslim ladka, what does he know about Indian elections?", were the kind of comments that came his way.
In the past, the online streaming platform, Netflix, was forced to take down Minhaj¡¯s episode where he criticised Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the government¡¯s reaction to the high-profile, heavily criticised death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
But nothing seems to deter Hasan Minhaj who's now willing to brave 'Modi supporting hecklers', online trolls and jibes from world leaders.
