Someone Stole This Boy's Gooseberry Tree, So The Police Surprised Him By Getting New Saplings
A boy's Gooseberry tree got stolen, he complained to the police. The very next day officers brought him saplings on new trees and he also got gifted a CCTV.
Pavan Nash, a class VI student in Kerala¡¯s Ernakulam district was shocked to find that the gooseberry tree in front of his house that he had been growing and nurturing from the past two years was missing. Someone broke off the two-foot-tall tree in front of his house and left only a small portion of the trunk.
Hurt by the incident, Pavan called ¡®Chiri¡¯ (smile), a tele counselling centre for children started by the Kerala government.
He told them of what happened and the issue was reportedly picked by higher officials of Chiri after they were informed. The very next day, officers from the Njarakkal police station visited Pawan and brought him new tree saplings.
Pavan is a student of Lobelia School in Nayarambalam, Mangalore Today reports. He had been caring for the sapling since class IV.

Reportedly, the police gave Pavan saplings of tamarind and guava, apart from gooseberry.
After Pavan¡¯s story became viral, a CCTV firm in Kochi named Smart Guard too came forward and gifted Pavan a CCTV camera for the house. CCTV will help the family and Pavan to keep an eye on his new plants and ensure that no harm is done to them or that no one steals them again.
