We Can All Learn About Compassion From This Kerala Woman Who Helped A Blind Man Board A Bus
A woman in Kerala was seen running behind a bus in an attempt to stop it so that she could help an elderly visually-challenged man board the vehicle. The woman in the clip was later identified as Supriya who works as a saleswoman in the town of Tiruvalla. She came to know about the video when her friend called saying it went viral online.
Kindness may be rare but even the smallest gestures can fill our hearts with happiness. In this video, a woman in Kerala was seen running behind a bus in an attempt to stop it so that she could help an elderly, visually-challenged man board the vehicle.
Once she catches up to the bus, she asks the conductor
something and is then seen holding the blind man by the hand. She then helps him to
get on the bus.
The video was shared by IPS officer Vijayakumar on Twitter who wrote, "she made this world a better place to live. kindness is beautiful!"

The woman in the clip was later identified as Supriya, who works as a saleswoman in the town of Tiruvalla. In an interview with local news outlet Mathrubhumi, the woman explained that a vehicle had swerved right past the man and she helped him move out of the way.
¡°I asked him where he needed to go. I needed to know if there was a bus stop there. I thought my husband, Anoop, on his bike can drop him at the bus stand,¡± she said.
Before that, she helped him to cross the road, told him to wait for her husband to to come, so that he can drop him at bus stand. The bus driver saw them looking at the bus and he stopped.

¡°Fortunately, the bus came and stopped a bit ahead. I ran to the bus and told the conductor who was sitting at the back about the blind person. I didn¡¯t think the bus would wait,¡± she said.
She came to know about the video when her friend called saying it went viral online and that people can¡¯t stop praising her for the kind act.
