Man's Generous Donation Of 2,00,000 Air Miles Will Reunite 6 Families For Christmas This Year
Lecturer Peter Shankman has donated air miles to strangers for the fifth year in a row. This year the total donation was about 200,000 air miles that will reunite six families during Christmas.
Holidays are a time when people love to spend time with their near and dear ones, but given the hectic schedule and flight tickets being sold out, not everyone enjoys the same privilege.
But one man in the US who works as airport ground staff sacrificed his time with family to help strangers enjoy their vacation with one generous gesture.

Lecturer Peter Shankman, who travels a lot giving lectures on marketing, parted with his airline miles because he wanted the ¡®strangers¡¯ to spend Christmas and New Year with their loved ones.

Shankman has donated air miles to strangers for the fifth year in a row. This year, the total donation was about 2,00,000 air miles that will reunite six families during Christmas.
¡°I can¡¯t think of a better way to use [frequent flier] miles. I¡¯m happy they want to help. There are a lot of people who can¡¯t afford to buy these tickets on their own,¡± Shankman told a US daily.
¡°The moon is almost 250,000 miles away, and I travel more than that annually,¡± he said.
