A video of three former teachers Tarun Kumar, Manish Dubey and Sarvesh Dixit from the ed-tech startup Physics Wallah crying over 'false allegations' of bribery and internal politics recently went viral. Here's what went on.

The three claim that Physics Wallah's chemistry teacher Pankaj Sijairya falsely accused them of accepting bribes from rival platform Adda247 to leave Physics Wallah.

After exiting, the three teachers, on their YouTube channel, explained that Physics Wallah's mission of providing high-quality, low-cost education was sidelined as the organisation grew. The drama reached a climax when the three teachers released a video in which they sobbed and became visibly upset while clarifying the allegations against them.

They denied receiving a bribe of Rs 5 crore and also claimed that Physics Wallah was attempting to take down their YouTube channel even though they had finished the course before leaving the platform.

The video received a lot of attention, and some users claimed it was a staged act to gain popularity. Netizens also criticised the former teachers' decision to speak publicly saying it was distasteful.
