Good Samaritan Reaches Out To Man Who Lost His Wallet By Depositing Money In His Bank Account
Coming home from work, only to realise that you don't have your wallet, can give you a mini heart attack, right? The chances of your lost wallet making its way back to you are very slim, but not all hope must be lost - there still are some good people in the world.
A man was surprised when a good Samaritan reached out to him, after he lost his wallet. A stranger found Tim Cameron¡¯s wallet on the road and found a good way to contact him - he deposited some money into Cameron¡¯s account.
Cameron also took the incident to Twitter and wrote, ¡®I just lost my wallet on the way home from work. I didn't have much identifying info in there so a good Samaritan got in touch with me via my... bank account,¡¯.

The stranger did four transactions and wrote a message for Cameron in every transaction. In the first two transactions, he wrote, ¡®Hi I found your. wallet in the road¡¯ and in the third transaction he gave his contact number and asked him to call or text him so that he could return his wallet.
As expected his tweet went viral and people started praising the stranger, and sharing their personal stories.

Someone stole my purse once, including my phone. I called my phone and they answered. We actually had a pleasant chat where I congratulated them on being the new owners of a Coach purse, $200 cash and my phone. Asked that they simply mail my driver¡¯s license back. They did. Lol

Found car keys once. They had a tag from a cemetery in a different state. Called the cemetery and they gave me a last name. Did some sleuthing on the last name and found a local address. My proudest PI moment.

No way to see owner's email.
Amazon support no help.
Owner had another device in her a/c.
He renamed the found device "Call XXX", and moved to "last position" of the book she was reading.
She saw prompt, "Would you like to resume from¡?"
She called him ?

Found $100 bill in a store once and, since you can't just ask who dropped money or turn it in, stood around for a bit waiting for the owner who, sure enough, came back looking panicked and searching the floor. She was so relieved it hadn't been taken. Made my day to save hers.

On our honeymoon, my wife lost her passport and wallet in Italy at the airport. We had 10 minutes to board the plane. I told her to wait in the security line. Running around like a mad man, two gentlemen approached me. ¡°Lose something?¡± They had found her wallet and passport.

Aside from cash, there are multiple important documents that are present in your wallet - driving license, ATM cards, PAN card and what not. So, it's not just about losing money, it's also about having to replenish all those documents.
It is heartwarming to know that someone cared enough to make so much effort to give Tim his wallet back. This incident is proof that technology has impacted our lives in a really good way.
