There is no dearth of inspirational stories on the social media platforms nowadays. Recently, a story of a man working as a swiggy delivery agent went viral after a customer saw him working barefoot. The man decided to share his inspirational story on LinkedIn, which has now gone viral. Here's what happened.

Swiggy delivery agent works barefoot after an accident

LinkedIn user Tariq Khan shared the story of a swiggy delivery who was working barefoot. Upon enquiry, the delivery man told him that he had an accident that day and his foot and ankle were swollen. When Khan advised him that he should have been taking rest, the delivery driver said that he had to feed his family, smiled and left.

Khan decided to share his inspiring story as he wrote and shared a picture of the smiling delivery man on LinkedIn. "Just now I met a Swiggy delivery agent who was barefoot with me in the elevator. I asked him why he wasn't wearing the shoes? He said he met with an accident today and had a swollen foot and ankle. I responded "then you should be resting and not working.

He smiled and said 'I have a family to feed.' He stepped out of the lift and said "Have a Good Evening Sir" It's people like him that inspire me to work hard and push myself when it's necessary. Khan requested netizens to help him

After sharing his story, Khan also urged people to help him financially in whatever way they could. In his post, Khan pinned a comment saying, "Anyone who wants to help this man can inbox me and I can give you his paytm number. He is in need of help, and he told me to give his number to anyone who wants to help. Especially people who were concerned about his privacy and asking me if i took his permission. Also, those who were suggesting me to give him shoes etc. may come forward and show some generosity."

Many people were keen to help the delivery guy out. A user commented, "If i was there i would have purchased him one pair of shoes." While another added, "If I were there, I would have paid for his day(based on my capabilities) and then posted here tagging #swiggy for any sort of reward/day off."
