'Patni Naraaz Hai': Newly Married UP Constable's Honest Leave Application Goes Viral
The constable wrote an emotional appeal to the Superintendent of Police, explaining that he needs time away from work because of his angry wife.
It's natural for a newlywed couple to desire to spend more time together, but the demands of both spouses' jobs may make that difficult to accomplish right away. After all, how many days of vacation time does one employee get?
Work that comes with a lot of responsibility may easily turn into a cause of family strife.
A UP Police constable has faced the same situation. A leave request submitted by a constable in Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh, to the SP is rapidly going viral online.
A police officer from the PRV of Nautanvan wrote to the SP about a real problem.
As kids, we were taught to write leave applications. However, as we grow up, these leave applications that we use at the workplace have become more innovative and, sometimes, even hilarious.
The constable wrote an emotional appeal to the Superintendent of Police, explaining that he needs time away from work because of his angry wife.
He stated in his application that his irate wife is not communicating with him on call since he is not getting any leaves, which is why.
In addition, he said that whenever he called her, she always handed the phone to his mother, no matter how many times he called.
In the application letter given by the police constable to the SP for leave, it is written that he got married only last month. After 'Biddai,' he left his wife at home and went on duty.
Since he has not taken any time off after their wedding, it has angered the wife.
He stated in his letter that she had not been talking to him despite multiple calls. In this letter, the constable also wrote,
"I promised my wife I would come home on my nephew's birthday. Please grant me seven days of casual leave, i.e., CL, starting January 10. I will be grateful to you.'
After reading this application, the Additional Superintendent of Police approved five days of casual leave for the constable.
Additional SP Atish Kumar Singh said that the police officers on duty are given leave according to their needs. It is also noted that the peace system should not be disturbed due to the rest¡ªthat is, not everyone on their staff should not be unavailable at the same time.
