After a disagreement, according to Ahmed, his wife moved their daughter and two grandkids to her parent's house in a village. He claimed he had to get his wife back home since he was devastated by her leaving.
In the letter, Ahmed requested leave from August 4 to 6.
"There has been an argument with my wife regarding 'Pyaar-Mohabbat (love)," the man wrote. He added, "Please accept my request for leave from August 4 to August 8."
According to a story in India Today, the man's request for leave has been granted. Social media users reacted to the letter in a diverse range of ways. Here's how the internet reacted:
