Woman Crashes Vehicle After Getting Chased By Stray Dogs In Odisha
Adding to their list of vices, a new case has shocked the internet. CCTV footage from Odisha has been going viral on social media, showing a woman atop a two-wheeler ram into a parked car while getting chased by street dogs. The incident took place in Berhampur City in Odisha on Monday, according to PTI.
In the viral video, a woman is riding the scooty with two other passengers, including a child that stands in front while holding the steering. The video shows how about five to six dogs were chasing after the trio, but things went awry when the rider lost control of her nerves and could not see the parked car ahead of her.
The frenzy of the moment ended with the rider crashing into the parked car on the side of the road. The collision launched the female on her back in the air as she did a full summersault and landed face down on the concrete road. The rider too leaped forward in the collision, but she gained her bearing quickly to recover from the crash. The child had a collision with the car and landed on the concrete, but got up quickly to regain his senses.
The Three Invoved In The Accident Sustained Multiple Injuries
The trio was left visibly shaken in the video, while the dogs too got frightened by the sudden crash and ran along back to safety. However, one of the dogs did get stuck in the vehicle for a moment after the crash before it too escaped from the scene.

PTI reported that the child, as well as the two women involved in the crash, sustained multiple injuries. The women in the CCTV footage have been identified by Odisha TV as Supriya and Sasmita.
One of the women told the outlet, "We were going to the temple at around 6 am when around six to eight dogs started chasing us. It was then that I decided to increase the speed of the scooter else the dogs would have bitten the pillion rider."
While the other thought they were extremely happy to have gotten away from a fatal accident, "A major tragedy was averted. The accident could have been fatal if we would have rammed into an electric pole or another object or drain."
