Liam Payne's funeral guestlist revealed as his family gears up for 'perfect service'
Liam Payne's family and close pals will gather to offer their last respects to the late singer six weeks after his death. Ahead of the event, a list of guests who are expected to attend the intimate commemoration has been doing rounds. Scroll ahead to know more.
A little over a month after his passing, Liam Payne will finally be laid to rest. Preparations for the solemn service are currently underway. Details related to the ceremony have been kept under wraps, but a few media reports have confirmed several guests' presence. As fans brace themselves for an emotional adieu, let's take a look at the list of attendees expected at the event.
Liam Payne's funeral: what we know so far
Liam Payne's funeral will be held on Wednesday (November 20) in the Home Counties in South-East England. The pop star passed away on October 16 in Argentina after falling from the balcony of his hotel room. His body was brought back to the UK by his father, Geoff Payne, earlier this month.
A report in The Sun recently revealed his family has gone to great lengths to put together the 'perfect service' and give him the send-off he deserves. "Liam may have been a global superstar, but to Geoff and Karen, he will always be their little boy. It is going to be an incredibly difficult day," an insider told the publication.
Liam Payne's funeral: guestlist revealed
As Liam's A-list status attracted much attention to the event, his mourning family faced a difficult task: putting together a guest list for his funeral. After much deliberation, they decided to invite his inner circle to the event, while also making the 'strained' decision of excluding some of his contacts.
Liam's former partner Cheryl and their son Bear are expected to join his family for the intimate commemoration.
Payne's girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, who was holidaying with him in Argentina days before his passing, will also attend the event.
Simon Cowell, who played a pivotal role in forming One Direction, is also expected to pay their respects.

Liam's former bandmates, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik, will be together in mourning at the event. This reunion from the band would mark their first in nine years since they announced their hiatus in 2015 after Zayn's departure. While this reunion isn't the one fans were hoping for, it's a reminder that One Direction members stick together through thick and thin.

Liam's alleged manager not allowed to attend his funeral
The report also disclosed that the family doesn't want the late singer's alleged manager and friend, Roger Nores, at the funeral as he faces the charges of "abandonment of a person followed by death."
"Liam's family want his funeral to go off without a hitch and right now opinions are strained when it comes to Roger. He and Liam indeed had a bond, but he's never been popular when it comes to Liam's wider circle."
